Imagining how successful some women would be if they were men is so disheartening. The fact that so many successful women out there are still constantly critized by the public eye for doing simple things is horrible.

The double standard between men and women is absolutely crazy. A woman could be taking care of her kid while on her phone and she’s a horrible mother. But if the father did that, they’d be considerate or hard-working. The fact that this double standard is still so persistant in society today is baffeling.

I feel like all women, specifically mothers, should really be appreciated and celebrated more often. They do so much for their families and are constantly under the pressure of others and still don’t get enough recognition. Please thank the mother figure in your life for doing so much for you.
