“The use of memes is prevalent on both pages. These
videos have gained a lot of traction, and I enjoy them
myself! This “Gen-Z” style of campaigning is very funny
and interesting to see. The only bad thing I have noticed
about the election is the severe stances people are talking
about each candidate and their vices. We need to
remember that political values do not define a person, and that everyone should be treated with respect, even if there are differences of opinion!”
Vanessa Valdes (junior)
“I think everything is really divided and really split. It’s either one extreme or the other extreme.”
Jake Zagotta (senior)
“[Something bad about this election is] Project 2025 may be a possibility. It’s something that I believe will make the country worse.”
Kayla Jade Ochotorena (sophmore)
“A bad thing I’ve noticed, and it happens with every election, is that opposing opinions can cause division and separation between bonds because political views can be higher valued than relationships. But good things I’ve seen are how people can truly believe in themselves and their views that are representing their beliefs. It’s good to know people can be confident in themselves without hurting others.”
