Q. How long have you been doing art for?
A. I’ve been doing arts since elementary school, but I’m more into it now than ever.
Q. What inspires your art?
A. What inspires my art is basically media, in general. I love anime, cartoons, stories in general. I just have a love for art in general. Whether it’s pretty or some of the worst I’ve seen, I can tell it’s like it comes from like a place of passion.
Q. What subjects do you depict in your art?
A. I usually depict some of my favorite characters, as well as my original characters throughout the years. I also love doing sunsets in general and backgrounds. I love backgrounds so much.
Q. What’s your favorite medium?
A. For me, I just do art in general, but since I’m in ceramics, I’ve been loving clay and building in general.
Q. Do you plan to pursue art in the future?
A. I don’t think so, I just want to keep it as a hobby, because it helps keep my passion alive. Instead of me being forced to do it all the time.
Q. How does Art Club and its fellow members inspire you to grow?
A. Art Club helps me to grow, through the compliments people give me all the time. It helps boost my confidence, as well as meeting some of the people that I’ve become friends with over the years. Some of my friends, Lill and Kell, became my best friends through Art Club.
Q. What’s your favorite part of art Club?
A. Honestly, it’s just getting time to do art, because I don’t have a lot of free time. But with art club, I have like a specific reserved time to just get my work done and honestly check out other people’s opinions on it.
Q. Are there any positions in art club? How is it organized?
A.There’s no positions in art club. Everyone’s free to do whatever they want. Everyone’s viewed as equals and some are beginners, some are more experienced . There’s so much to learn from one another.
Q. How does art club make you feel?
A. It makes me feel really happy every Thursday, just going there. I’ve been going there since sophomore year, so it’s become part of my routine to just head down this hall. Just to have fun, do art and see my friends.
Q. Is there anything you would change about it?,
A. Not really. It’s very free, it’s open, although, there is one thing, which is how loud it gets sometimes, but, it’s still it’s very nice, and I wouldn’t change much at all.
