‘Tis the Season to be a Gamer

The month of November had the gaming community screaming with joy. Major game companies plan to release sequels and brand new games to the public Fallout 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
After waiting four years, Bethesda Softworks released their next installment to the Fallout series. Taking after Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4 is set in the post- apocalyptic wasteland. The only new addition to the game is the next-generation effects. The game was released on Nov. 10.
Infinity Ward released the next installment of the COD series with Call of Duty: Black Ops III on Nov. 6. Before the launch of the game, the developers explained their fascination of nightmare military technologies in 2065. The game features a new breed of black ops soldiers where the line between humanity and robotics are blurred. The game adds a new storyline for zombies. Treyarch has created two stories: Shadows of Evil and The Giant. Shadows of Evil focuses on a group of four people who live in a fictional city. They are thrown into a dark a twisted version of Morg City and are guided by a mysterious figure called the Shadowman. The Giant focuses on alternate versions of the original characters who are introduced to Call of Duty: Black Ops II map, Origins. The story continues where Origins left off, while attempting to rewrite the other timelines history.
With the new Star Wars movie coming in December, EA released Star Wars Battlefront on Nov. 17. The game is not considered a sequel to the other two previous Battlefront games but instead a reboot. Battlefront is a first and third person shooter game based off the Star Wars franchise.
