Thaiway, a Thai food restaurant located in Romeoville, IL is a tasty place to eat with family and friends, with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.
As my family and I went into the restaurant, it was warm and cozy with low volume music and an absence of blasting televisions. Thaiway has a variety of different foods for people with vegan and meat options, Thai, and Chinese foods. Everyone can pick something off of the menu.
The staff was very welcoming with greeting smiles and small talk when they passed by to see if we were enjoying our food. With no wait, they sat us at a table in the center of the room, a comfortable and relaxing place that wasn’t too crowded.
Our meal started off with delicious egg rolls with a crunchy shell filled with fresh vegetables.Rinsing it down, I ordered their mango bubble smoothie.
The menus prices range from nine to sixteen dollars, from appetizers like vegetarian egg rolls to main courses like their Pad Thai.
I ordered their crab Rangoon made with crispy shells and creamy crab in the middle. The Crab Rangoon pieces were scattered around a small dish of creamy Thai sauce. The crab was fresh and hot right out of the oven and the sauce was very smooth.
My brother and I also split a vegan Pad Thai with handmade noodles and tasty white rice. Mixing the vegetables with the noodles and rice was one of the most delicious dishes I ever experienced at Thaiway.
The meals were handed to us in a fashionable time span with no tapping feet or growling stomachs.
Throughout the evening, the chef checked up on us to make sure we were doing alright and were enjoying our food.
My experience at Thaiway was very enjoyable with their caring staff members and scrumptious food. I
would rate the restaurant a total of four stars out of five. While everyone has their own taste in food and may not want Thai food, they can also choose another dish with their variety of options. Thaiway is a great place to hang out with friends and family.
