In Illinois, there are 288 confirmed cases of COVID-19 per the Illinois Department of Health. There is one additional case within Will County, putting the total amount of cases at three in the county. There are also two cases of COVID-19 in Kendall County. Approximately 2,052 people have been tested for the virus within the state.
Nationwide, there are approximately 7,800 cases of COVID-19. Nearly 2,500 of the cases are in New York State.
Globally, there are ~215,000 cases of COVID-19. As of now, among the countries impacted, Italy is at 35,710 cases; Iran is at 17,360 cases; Spain is at 13,910 cases; Germany is at 12,330 cases; and France is at 9,050 cases. Over 8,730 have died, and over 83,310 have recovered so far.
The Dow Jones fell -1,340 points, putting it below 20,000 points. This comes after the market rebounded by +1,050 yesterday.
