In Illinois, there are 5,994 confirmed cases of COVID-19 per the Illinois Department of Health. There are 228 cases in Will County and 19 cases in Kendall County. Approximately 35,225 people have been tested for the virus within the state and 99 have died from the virus.
Nationwide, there are over 188,172 cases of COVID-19. 3,867 have died from the novel virus.
Globally, there are 857,487 cases of COVID-19. As of now, among the countries impacted, Italy is at 105,792 cases; Iran is at 44,605 cases; Spain is at 95,923 cases; Germany is at 71,808 cases; and France is at 52,827 cases. 42,107 have died, and over 178,034 have recovered so far.
The Dow Jones dropped -410 points, putting it below 22,000 points. Overall, the market is at 21,917 points.
