In Illinois, there are 6,980 confirmed cases of COVID-19 per the Illinois Department of Health. There are 322 cases in Will County and 27 cases in Kendall County. Approximately 40,384 people have been tested for the virus within the state and 141 have died from the virus.
Nationwide, there are over 213,372 cases of COVID-19. 5,099 have died from the novel virus.
Globally, there are 932,605 cases of COVID-19. As of now, among the countries impacted, Italy is at 110,574 cases; Iran is at 47,593 cases; Spain is at 104,118 cases; Germany is at 77,872 cases; and France is at 57,749 cases. 42,075 have died, and over 193,259 have recovered so far.
The Dow Jones dropped -974 points, putting it below 21,000 points. Overall, the market is at 20,944 points.
