In Illinois, there are 24,593 confirmed cases of COVID-19 per the Illinois Department of Health. There are 1,433 cases in Will County and 116 cases in Kendall County. Approximately 116,929 people have been tested for the virus within the state and 948 have died from the virus.
Nationwide, there are over 637,716 cases of COVID-19. 28,529 have died from the virus.
Globally, there are 2,062,485 cases of COVID-19. As of now, among the countries impacted, Italy is at 165,155 cases; Iran is at 76,389 cases; Spain is at 180,659 cases; Germany is at 134,582 cases; and France is at 134,582 cases. 136,908 have died, and over 511,843 have recovered so far.
The Dow Jones fell -445 points, putting it at 23,504 points overall.
