The Feminine Mold

Celebrating All Women

Something I always seem to notice when it comes to Womens History Month is the fact that some people don’t celebrate all women. Most of the time, people forget about disabled women or non-white women. Many of them who have made amazing advancements in our society today. It always upsets me when they’re left out, because they deserved to be loved and appreciated too!

One great example of a woman who has made great progress is Senetor Tammy Duckworth. Not only is Duckworth a veteran, disabled, and a woman of color, she was also the first woman senetor to give birth while in office! She has made many more accomplishments as well.

I hope all disabled and non-white women have an amazing Womens History Month.
