Q: What will you remember about Plainfield South?
A: “Oh gosh. I’ll remember the students coming through, the Cougar pride, the sporting events; I was the athletic director for 12 years before becoming principal, and [was] involved with the teachers and the boosters and the community. It’s been very exciting and rewarding, and I’ll just look back [at] the great memories and the time that I’ve spent here.”

Q: What advice do you have for the future staff of South?
A: “Each individual student is different and has various needs. Create a positive relationship with those students and a better understanding so that together students and teachers can be successful.”

Q: What do you plan on doing in your retirement?
A:“I think the plan right now is to be a snowbird in Florida in the winter months and then decide if we like it, and if we do, then eventually move down there.”
