Just off of Ridge Road, where the street meets the Plainfield South parking lot, a new stoplight is being put into place to ensure the protection of the students traveling in and out of school. The construction began sometime in the late spring and early summer through Kendall County Public Works, and has pursued throughout rain and shine.
“I think it would be safer, we’d get out of school faster. Plus, I don’t want to get hit by a car.”
“I think it’s a good idea, but the fact that it’s not built yet is really inconvenient because it puts a lot of construction in that specific area.”
