My name is Emily Gonzalez and I am the opinion editor for the Paw Print. I only care about two things: animal conservation and restructuring the American healthcare system. I am a senior hoping to study biology at the University of Chicago and later go on to get a masters in zoology and doctorate in entomology.  I became interested in journalism because I thought the writing style would help in academic writing but stayed because I enjoyed being able to share my thoughts with the school.
