George DeSpain, Feature Editor
My name is George DeSpain and I am a senior at Plainfield South. This is my second year as a journalist for the Paw Print and my first year as an In-Depth Features editor.
I chose to take journalism my junior year in hopes of improving my writing style and connecting with creative, like-minded people. Over the next year, I took a particular liking in writing feature stories as well as meeting new people through interviews.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy working out, skateboarding with friends, and going for long runs in nature accompanied by music. I strive to make everyday life enjoyable and productive – journalism has contributed to that greatly!
