Q: What is training / practice like?
A: Practice is very fun. The whole team has a great bond helping us maneuver through hard drills with good communication, and we really build off of our mistakes working together.
Q: What’s a goal you have for the season?
A: My goal for the end of the season is to contribute and play my role in helping the team especially the seniors, with it being their last year [to] achieve our goal [of] winning conference.
Q: Why did you decide to join basketball?
A: I decided to join basketball because I love the sport and the program and community. Our coach has built a very strong and I plan on playing at the next level.
Q: What’s been a challenge this season?
A: This season, a challenge that [I] personally have faced is an injury that’s holding me back from playing 100%, and I’m not able to contribute fully to helping the team.
Q: What have you learned from this season?
A: This season, I have learned that any game can be your last one. You should always be going your hardest if you really love it. Your teammates and the people you are around really determine a lot, speaking from how much our team lifts each other up, making everybody better.
